A Special Message from Brother Edwin
Gravitt, PM of Norcross Lodge No. 228
Name of Master = Edwin Gravitt, PM Norcross No. 228
date = March 16, 2009
Message = Greetings to the officers and all of my other
Brethren of Canton Lodge and to all of the other Lodges
who look for More Masonic Light on your beautiful and
informative web site. I am Edwin Gravitt, a plural member
of my original Lodge Norcross 228 in Norcross, Ga. - PM,
Phi Delta #148 in Homer, Ga - PM, DoW, and Carnesville
186, Carnesville, Ga.- SD, DoW. Norcross Lodge, which is
my Home Lodge also has a nice web site, but my other two
Lodges do not. In fact both Phi Delta Lodge and
Carnesville Lodge are struggling to stay alive, both having
lost several of their members due to the deaths of several
brethren and non-payment of dues. Many of our Brethren
have become just totally disinterested. Now I don't mean to
make it appear that these two Lodges are in a destitute
condition, but they both could use, at least a bit of
encouragement from our distant Brethren, like yourselves.
We have no website, but I do have what I call the Georgia
World-Masonic Plumbline, a Yahoo message board where
Brethren from all over the world may post their Lodge
meeting notices and other important Masonic information
and events. This not a discussion/debate forum, and such
is not allowed. Now my purpose for sending this lengthy
message to you, my Brethren, is to invite you to help me to
help our Great Fraternity in NE, Georgia to realize the
fulfillment of our desire for More Light in Masonry here. I
have reached the time in my life when a journey of more
than a few miles is about all I can travel unaided and
alone. Now I believe that, if you my Brethren could help me
a little by maybe arranging for a journey from afar to visit
with us, here in NE, GA., that it would be most helpful to us.
My, how I do ramble on. My Brethren, I invite each of you
to visit the Georgia World Masonic Plumbline and let us
know what is going on in your part of the World Of
Freemasonry. And please pay us a visit when you can. I
can be reached by phone at 706.384.2194, or by emai
edwing@gumlog.net.
I do screen of my calls if I don’t recognize the number on
caller ID, but if you reach my answering machine, please
leave a message and let me know who you are. I will get
back to you as soon as possible. I go now with most
humble gratitude and Fraternal regards,
Edwin Gravitt

Name of Master = Vicki Bagwell
date = 10/6/2009
Messege = Gentlemen,
I am the daughter-in-law of Mr. Dorris Bagwell and the
wife of Eddie Bagwell. I want to express my gratitude for
your prayers, support and participation in Mr. B's funeral
services. It was a comfort to see so many of you who
took the time to visit the funeral home. I had never
witnessed a Masonic burial and was very impressed with
the ceremony. Mr. B loved his friends there and talked
of the Lodge often. I am certain that Mr. B is now in
Heaven and looks down upon all of us who loved and
respected him.
Thank you again for all that you did to support our
family.
